Rodger Rohde, Sr., an entrepreneur who foresaw the potential of the nutritional supplements industry, founded the company in 1978. Drawing on his extensive experience in the fragrance and flavorings industry, Rohde recognized that ingredient suppliers who were committed to quality, had extensive and reliable sourcing networks, and had truly forged a partnership with end-use manufacturers, would have the edge in a fad-driven industry with fragmented supply chains. From this philosophy, Triarco Industries, Inc. emerged with an initial product line that included an array of herbal products.

9001:2000 certified and GMP operated company, is a supplier of high-purity Ready-To-Run® natural ingredients, including botanicals, botanical extracts, plant-derived enzymes, patented enzyme systems, instantized herbal teas and organically-bound minerals. For more than twenty-five years, Triarco has relied on its commitment to quality and innovation to establish itself as a leader in the natural ingredients market and a true pioneer in quality control, quality assurance, product development and research and development.
With two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, Triarco is able to provide Ready-To-Run® ingredients in a variety of forms such as powders, granulations, dry blends, emulsions, liquids and suspensions. Its flagship facility in New Jersey is ISO 9001:2000 certified by both N.S.F. and Underwriters Laboratories. Triarco’s custom-designed 56-acre processing facility, located in South Carolina, is herbal-specific and certified Kosher.
Technical service takes on a new definition at Triarco, where over two decades of innovation in quality assurance, manufacturing and product procurement have enabled the company to forge strong partnerships with its worldwide clients. Led by PhD's, pharmacists, chemists and formulators, Triarco's scientific team provides customers with advanced technical support.
